...if you've heard this one before.
I'm not sure this album works in it's entirety, but I am enamored of the remake of The Smith's song Stop me if you've heard this one before.
Somehow Daniel Merriweather's R&B and soul-tinged vocals work. (R&B and The Smiths? Quoi...? But, really, it works.)
And I love the way the song segues into the Supreme's You keep me hangin' on.
Pure genius.
I found myself laughing out loud the first time I heard this song. Surprised and delighted, I fell immediately and irrevocably in love with it.
